Sharp rise in UK unemployment

Recovery, what recovery? Unemployment rose by 80,000 to 2.51 million in the three months to July, according to figures released this morning by the Office for National Statistics. UK unemployment increases again

More bad news! Unemployment has risen, following on from yesterday’s rise in prices. Unemployment rose by 44,000 to reach almost 2.5 million in the three months to the end of December, according to statistics published by the Office for National Statistics earlier today.
